    Refund and Cancellation Policy

    This Refund and Cancellation Policy sets out the terms governing requests for refunds and cancellations of services offered by MaxFate Private Limited, in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

    1. Applicability

    This Refund and Cancellation Policy ("Policy") applies to all purchases made through the Drishti Astro platform operated by MaxFate Private Limited ("the Company"). By completing a purchase on our platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Policy. This Policy must be read in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions.

    2. Nature of Services

    Drishti Astro provides personalised digital astrological reports, guidance content, and consultation services. All Services are custom-generated on the basis of birth data and other personal information provided by the User at the time of purchase. Given the personalised and digital nature of these Services, refund eligibility is subject to the conditions specified herein.

    3. Cancellation Policy

    3.1 Pre-Delivery Cancellation

    You may request cancellation of your order before the astrological analysis or report generation has commenced. A cancellation request must be submitted within two (2) hours of placing the order by writing to drishti@maxfate.com with your order reference number and reason for cancellation. Upon successful verification, a full refund shall be processed as per Clause 5 of this Policy.

    3.2 Post-Commencement Cancellation

    Once the preparation of your personalised astrological report or consultation session has commenced, cancellation may not be possible. This is because the service involves dedicated time, expertise, and personalised analysis that cannot be undone once initiated. The Company shall notify you by email when your order has entered the production stage.

    3.3 Consultation Sessions

    For scheduled consultation calls or live sessions, cancellation requests must be submitted at least twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled appointment time. Cancellations made within twenty-four (24) hours of the appointment shall not be eligible for a refund. No-shows shall be treated as completed sessions and shall not be eligible for refund.

    4. Refund Eligibility

    A refund request shall be considered eligible under the following conditions:

    4.1 Eligible Circumstances

    • ●The order is cancelled within the permissible pre-delivery window (Clause 3.1)
    • ●The purchased Service was not delivered within the committed delivery timeline through no fault of the User
    • ●The delivered report or service is materially deficient or contains significant errors directly attributable to a technical or operational failure by the Company
    • ●Duplicate payment was made for the same order due to a technical error

    4.2 Non-Eligible Circumstances

    • ●Digital reports or content that have already been delivered to the registered email address
    • ●Consultation sessions that have been completed or where the User failed to attend without prior notice
    • ●Services purchased at a promotional discount or under special offer schemes, unless otherwise specified
    • ●Requests submitted after seven (7) calendar days from the date of delivery of the Service
    • ●Dissatisfaction with astrological predictions or guidance, given the inherently subjective and probabilistic nature of such services
    • ●Requests citing a change of mind after the commencement of service preparation

    5. Refund Process

    5.1 Initiating a Refund Request

    1. 1.Write to our support team at drishti@maxfate.com with the subject line: "Refund Request – [Your Order ID]"
    2. 2.Provide your full name, registered email address, order reference number, date of purchase, and a clear description of the reason for the refund request
    3. 3.Our team shall acknowledge your request within forty-eight (48) business hours
    4. 4.We may request additional information or documentation to process your claim; please cooperate promptly to avoid delays

    5.2 Processing Timeline

    Upon approval of an eligible refund request, the refund shall be processed within seven (7) to ten (10) business days. The refunded amount shall be credited exclusively to the original payment method used at the time of purchase (e.g., bank account, credit/debit card, UPI, wallet). The Company shall not be responsible for any delays attributable to the User's bank or payment service provider.

    5.3 Partial Refunds

    In circumstances where partial service delivery has occurred or where the refund eligibility applies only to a component of the total purchase, the Company reserves the right to issue a pro-rata partial refund at its reasonable discretion.

    6. Disputed Transactions and Chargebacks

    If you believe a transaction on your payment instrument is unauthorised or fraudulent, please contact us immediately at drishti@maxfate.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. We shall cooperate fully with your inquiry and endeavour to resolve the matter expeditiously. Frivolous or fraudulent chargeback requests may result in suspension of the User's account and appropriate legal action.

    7. Consumer Rights under Applicable Law

    Nothing in this Policy shall be construed to restrict or curtail any rights available to you as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, or any other applicable Indian legislation. In the event of any conflict between this Policy and applicable statutory consumer rights, the statutory rights shall prevail.

    All complaints shall be acknowledged within forty-eight (48) hours and resolved within thirty (30) days.

    9. Amendments

    The Company reserves the right to revise this Policy at any time. The revised Policy shall be effective from the date of its publication on the platform. Users are advised to review this Policy periodically. Continued use of the Services after any such revision shall constitute acceptance of the updated Policy.
